Canon Character Section:
History:

Robin of Locksley (Storybrooke counterpart)
Robin Hood (Enchanted Forest counterpart)

Personality:

First of all, unlike the majority of the OUAT characters, Robin doesn't have two personas (Storybrooke vs Enchanted Forest) since the first curse apparently didn't bring him to 'our' world the first time around.

When Robin was first introduced to the OUAT world, the casting sheet called for a '30-something brave and honorable man', and indeed those two qualities are what defines Robin the most. However, unlike Charming's courage who errs on the chivalrous side, Robin's is more of the reckless type. This is demonstrated when he breaks into both Rumplestilskin and Maleficient's castle to steal from them both. His objectives were different on either times he did, but they were important enough for him to risk his life and crossing powerful sorcerers to get what he needed.

His honor is also very important for him. He once mentions to Will Scarlet that he's not a thief because he doesn't steal for himself, but for those in needs. This principle is something he insists on with all of his Merry Men, making him at the same time a man that's used to live with humble measures. When he finds out that one of his men crossed him and stole for himself, he's enraged and immediately demands to know the culprit. He later finds out that it's Will Scarlet, and despite his anger, he let the man go, saying that his mistake will eventually catch up to him.  To Robin, this is the worst punishment he can think of, since he believes that dishonorable deeds will be punished accordingly, with time. His honor also makes him follow Regina inside her own castle to discover who's invaded it, explaining himself to her that he owes her a debt for saving his son from the Wicked Witch's flying monkey. There, he also shows how he sees the good in things and people, seeing Regina for the mourning mother that she is at the moment, and trying to convince her not to put herself under a sleeping curse in order to stop feeling her sadness caused by the lost of her son. He also tells Charming later on that despite knowing a way to make his fear of losing Roland, following his wife's death, he faced it on his own, showing that he has a strength of character that helps him live through life's hardships.

Family and friends are very important for Robin as well. As mentioned before, Robin risks his life to steal a wand from Rumple in order to save his love, Marian, and their unborn son. He only allows Neal to use Roland as bait for the Shadow once, and only with good protection around the boy. He also gives up Regina's heart to protect his son from Rumple, even though he was honored to be the one safeguarding it in the first place. But when faced with the possibility of losing Roland, Robin doesn't hesitate to give it up, apologizing later to the former Evil Queen. And he is clearly distressed when Little John is turned into a flying monkey.

Despite not knowing much about magic, it is something that Robin doesn't trust much in.  This is shown when he steals from Rumple, taking a wand he heard could help his wife while not knowing how to use it.  He also warns his Merry Men not to take anything else than the gold in Maleficient's castle, saying that no one can trust powerful magic items.

Witty and suave, it is hinted that earlier in his life, Robin might have been a womanizer. However, it's clear that he's a romantic at heart: he does everything he can to save his first wife Marian, and once in Storybrooke, he tells Regina that he sees her as his second chance at love, that his heart is enough for the both of them to feel (cue 'awwwwww'). He's also a bit smug, especially when it comes to his archery abilities, saying that his arrows never miss a target. His self-confidence is high enough that easily overlooks snipe comments about his 'profession', preferring reminding people that it gives him a set of skills that can be useful. Robbing the rich to give to the poor takes some ingenuity, generosity and stealth, all qualities Robin possesses. He also has shown that he knows how to read people, seeing past the vengeful side of the Evil Queen to see how determined Regina was back in the Enchanted Forest, even if her goal wasn't so honorable to Robin's standards.

Powers/Abilities: Robin is a skilled archer, his arrows never miss their marks. He is also an excellent swordsman.

Appearance: Robin Hood is played by Sean Maguire: he has short brown hair and blue eyes, a fit body and tends to wear clothes that are a bit ragged.

It was the second time in his life that Robin woke up in an entirely new world, this time around, one he had never heard of. Clearly, the hard stone of the Temple's floor was not the soft canopy of the Enchanted Forest, nor the wet ones of the Maine. Gathering himself up, Robin gave the rooma look around, a plan already forming in his head. It was an easy one: find his men and figure out what had happened this time around. Surely this was another curse, and the thought of Zelenna having won against Regina made his heart constrict lightly in his chest. Has he failed her a second time?

But first things, first. Before gathering his Merry Men, he had to find his son. Moving swiftly through the crowd, he searched for Roland, barely stopping himself to listen to what seemed to be the person in charge. Robin made a mental note to go and speak to them once he was reunited with his son.

"Roland? Roland!"

As he made his way through the crowd, his voice carried over the whispers and awes and shrieks of panic in hope that it would find his son. He spotted a few people he knew from Storybrooke and before: Emma, Charming, Snow White and Neal ('Neal! Was he not dead? What sorcery is this?'). Perhaps, one of them would have seen Roland. Or at least have an explanation has to where they were and why they were taken. But the more Robin searched for his son, the more he could feel worry seep into his chest and desperate, he reached for the first person on his right:

"My apologies, but have you seen a young boy, about this tall, with brown hair and answering to the name 'Roland'?"
